This song is about getting lost in the desert. There was a time when I was on my way to Las Vegas with my friend to buy some rocket engines and we ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. We decided that one of us should hitchhike to try to find gas while the other one would stay with the jeep. I was the one who stayed with the jeep and I had a most unusual few hours by myself in the middle of the desert. After discovering I was surrounded by a lot of different desert flowers and animals I decided to make some sculptures out of the garbage I had collected. All the while, I was thinking about my friend and about Large Marge from Pee Wee's big adventure. I also developed a big thirst for Tequila which I satisfied one we eventually reached Las Vegas.
